I hate being tired when I am trying to write, it makes the quality poor and the writing short. Today I promise that no matter how tired that I am, that I will write quality work! I don’t know where to begin, I have had such a busy 1.5 days that cramming it all into one post will be difficult. Never the less, I am here writing it so lets go!

Me and Toby

Almost immediately after finishing my post that I wrote in Munich, I boarded my very short flight to Vienna. The flight was very short, which was something that I had really needed. The view over Germany/Austria was stunning. I don’t think that my camera can really do justice to what I was seeing with my own eyes. On the flight to Vienna, I was very relaxed, but somewhat anxious. It would only be a few short minutes until I would be able to meet my family, What would me family be like? What would they think of me? Well all of my concerns would be dissuaded after I finally got off of the plane and was able to meet them.

I don’t have a picture of us at the airport, but this is a picture of us at “babitchka” (don’t spell check me) or grandmas house. Fantastic food.

If shut down school behind your flat doesn’t scream Slavness then I don’t know what does.

I am so frustrated that I didn’t take a picture of when they were all standing there to greet me. I am not sure of what the feeling exactly is, but I didn’t need a translator to tell me what they were saying: Welcome home. I was pretty relieved when I saw them, I was finally able to relax after a very long day of traveling. I finally got to meet, my new little sister Sophia, my new mom Katarina, and my new host dad Brano.

I am now told I have 5 minutes until I have to go to bed…? Might be them telling me that they are going to bed but I am not taking any chances. So, I promise I will try to write more tomorrow, for now, I guess you will have to live with this little jot.

I am not from Banska Bystrica, but I think it is important to mention that the building you think is/was a school, has “Regional court” written on it.

I drive by it everyday! I was wondering what that was! I am going to ask my family here if I can check it out sometime soon. Thanks!
