Slovakia Day 57 – Not my House

Today I am staying at a home that is not my own! I was only informed of this late last night, but it seems that my family had some business in Bratislava, so they asked my youth exchange officer (YEO) to host me for a night. I haven’t had the opportunity to talk to him at our club meetings, so being able to sit down and talk to him for a good while about how I am feeling about Slovakia was really great. I spent a good portion of my day writing a satirical eBook, so I am pretty worn out writing wise. I would share this eBook, but it is very… Specific? Unless you are in this sub-culture it is already directed at, then I doubt that you would be able to understand the whole concept of it. If you understand who Malik Obama is, then contact me and I will be sure to send you a copy.

Other than heading to school today, and afterwards in the evening going to my YEO’s house for the night, nothing much more outstanding happened. I talked to him and his wife for a few hours, so I am a bit tired. The reason why today’s post is so short. But, I hope that I will be able to find something interesting to write about tomorrow, as it is getting harder and harder to think of things to say on slow days like these…

Today’s word of the day is:

myš – mouse

Pronounced like meysh in English.
